Every market is different and we think that their storage solutions should reflect and compliment what makes them unique. Our high density mobile shelving solutions can be outfitted to store anything. Let me repeat that word again: Anything.
Here are seven variations and examples of different High Density Mobile designs, which one is right for you? If you’re still not sure, don’t worry! We’ll help design the perfect solution to fit your unique needs and workflow.
The below image shows a manual mobile system in an archive setting, but they are common for things such as golf bag storage, and other areas where the system is accessed somewhat frequently. are an excellent solution for small storage and filing applications. These systems also work well in active storage and filing areas and when storing lightweight items. Manual Mobile Shelving Systems roll back and forth on floor tracks with the pull of the hand on the handle and are the most economical type of high capacity manual mobile shelving systems available.
Standard high density mobile shelving systems have helped boost efficiency and organization in libraries, hospitals, athletic equipment rooms, museums, police departments, and other work environments. Plus, they offer a host of safety and security features, design options, and your choice of controls to suit your needs. This version is applicable to almost any storage challenge. In the image below you can see it being used as a beautiful compact storage system in the lobby of a law firm. This is also a great image to remind our readers that storage doesn’t have to be an eye-sore, and it doesn’t have to be in the basement or the back of house somewhere. If your space is at a premium, put in a premium storage solution that combines storage and display.
Powered mobile systems are unique in more than one way, but the biggest difference that sets them apart is that they are powered by electricity. Users open system aisles with a simple push of a button or press of a touchscreen. These systems are designed to increase productivity in active systems. They provide state-of-the-art technology and safety for users along with maximum storage densities, and they offer a broad array of safety features and programmable functions. Powered systems are ideal for high-access applications where maximum reliability, security and protection of stored materials are key concerns. Below you can see it being used in a very unique way. This library wanted to include a gift shop, but didn’t want it to take up too much space. With the help of a storage expert they designed this high density mobile powered system that functions as a well-lit and appealing gift shop during the day, and completely shuts and locks down at night – with the touch of a button!
6) Heavy Duty Mobile Shelving:
Heavy-duty mobile racking is ideal for warehouses, frozen warehouses, cold storage facilities, and any location that requires a compact storage solution for heavy items. Mobilized Storage System eliminates idle aisles by mounting existing pallet racking or shelving onto mobile carriages that move along rails. These carriages have a load capacity of 7,000 to 30,000 lbs and are fitted with a host of safety and security features. Below you can see it being used in a materials management facility. This particular facility wasn’t sold on the high-density concept entirely so they decided to only replace five of their static pallet racks to start. From only replacing five stacks with mobile pallet racking they saw a 70% gain in storage capacity and a 15% gain in efficiency. Needless to say they quickly outfitted their entire facility with High Density Mobile.
