This new product is a game-changing Crosswalk designed to improve efficiency as well as access while servicing the upper levels of our indoor vertical farming systems. The Crosswalk provides an elevated work station that seamlessly integrates with both new and existing uprights and can be utilized during all stages of indoor cultivation.
Here’s why the Crosswalk is so necessary.
When growers utilize indoor vertical farming systems to care for plants above ground, they could be putting themselves into potentially hazardous situations if safety is not a top priority. These Crosswalks provide a better way to tend to plants and allow users to get in and out of aisles as easily and safely as possible.
What makes the Crosswalk different?
Unlike ladders or lifts, the Crosswalk remains locked in place for the entire length of the grow aisle, providing a safe platform to work. Crosswalk planks are available in lengths of 4’ and 8’ and are set into cross supports that are secured to uprights with locking pins. The locking pins make installation quick and easy so you can move it as many times as you need.
In addition to anti-slip features, each 22”-wide plank is rated to a two-person, 500lb capacity and tested up to 2,000lb to support OSHA compliance.
